| Focalplane is designed to be a very "flat" web-site and most topics are directly accessible from the "Hub". Only multiple-part travelogues and individual gallery images go to a second tier. Likewise it is possible to go straight to a recent weblog entry or any of the aggregated sites with one click from the "Hub". A site specific Google search facility is available on the "Hub". On the subject of spelling you will find that American English will take precedence over English English, even when the subject is about England. Focalplane was started, and has always been registered and hosted, in Texas, so it seems appropriate to maintain that tradition. But there are bound to be speling errers anyway. . .

Spoke 1 - Focalplane Flickr - The four thumbnails shown on the Hub represent the latest images to be uploaded. Flickr will become the repository for most of focalplane's images. As a by product, it also acts as a critical off-site backup for digital images.
